World Physical Map By Georg Westermann

A massive and colourful World Physical map made in Germany, and published by Georg Westermann in 1961. This map was designed specifically for showing World ocean currents. Canvas backed for hanging, with top and bottom black painted wooden supporting stretchers. This map was most likely used as a teaching aid. The condition is fair to good. Some foxing, and repaired splits. Not many of these maps survive today... this one has plenty of life left in it. Fantastic for interior decoration to display on a feature wall.
