Turkmen Tribal Kilim Rug

A hand woven flat weave Turkmen kilim. Featuring bold horizontal stripes with repeating guls (tribal emblems). Often woven in deep reds and blues with white accents - horizontal pattern kilims like this are less common. This wonderful rug shows areas of contemporary repair which were professionally carried out by the tribal makers. This rug is in a good uncleaned condition. A really lovely addition to your collection of interior decoration staples. This antique rug is a statement piece which will last for generations.
