Pictorial Medal Lithographs - British Army Peninsular War

A collection of six framed pages from 'The Book of the Army Pageant' published in 1910. Each lithograph displays circular illustrations and text depicting scenes and descriptions of battles by the British Army during the Peninsular War. The images are of pictorial box medals originally issued at the time of these events, around 1815. The complete set of 13 medal images is offered here. Each pair of pages are mounted in three contemporary deep wood glazed frames. Some foxing consistent with age. Fantastic for a collector of Napoleonic War militaria. Price is for the three.
