A fabulous pine desk box typical of around 1870-80. Contemporarily painted in red oxide paint. Lovely condition and excellent patina. Paint chips, dents and scratches. Iron tee hinges. A very useful box or chest for interior decoration. Great for the fireside as lighter/kindling storage.
