Middle East Nomadic Kilim Rug

A simple nomadic kilim with a largely plain red field scattered with small X-motifs - and simple border. This rug is a utilitarian, minimalist tribal piece. Most likely a  Turkish Kilim from Anatolia, or a Persian Baluchi flat weave. This tightly woven rug is very hard waring and ideal for a front room or kitchen. The face side of the rug is not as vibrant as the underside - but still shows a fantastic pop of bright red. This rug is in a good uncleaned condition.
