Large Georgian Pine Mule Chest

A large early Georgian pine two drawer mule chest. A deep chest over two full depth drawers. Georgian brass drop handle drawer pulls and matching brass key escutcheon. Working lock and key. Wonderful original Georgian cranked iron strap hinges. Raised on bracket feet. One foot has been professionally replaced using the original iron nails. Dents and scratches consummate with age. The whole chest has undergone a sympathetic clean and is finished in a rich wax. This is a beautiful item which screams Georgian storage. Great as a coffee table - TV stand - bedding or toy storage. A real antique item for interior decoration.
