Georgian Shipwreck Sea Chest

This wonderfully shabby sea chest is straight out of Davy Jones's locker. It looks like it has been sitting on the seabed for over 100 years. Extremely rustic and timeworn - but solid and very usable. Judging by the rusty cranked fish tale strap hinges, we are confident it is early Georgian in age. Non-contemporary rope handles with hasp & staple lock. Aged copper name plate on the lid. This chest is not pretending to be anything other than shabby and rustic. Would make a fantastic retail display item - or design inspiration for that seaside escape. The other items displayed are also available on request.
