English School Oil on Canvas - Mid 19C

A large mid 19C oil painting on canvas. Displayed in its contemporary gilt and gesso frame. Unknown artist. Could be signed in the right corner, but we can't make it out. In the manner of an English School landscape. Some damage to the canvas as shown in the photographs. The frame has gesso loss to the corner joints, and gilt loss to several areas. A great looking piece of real antique art to fill your white space. It's timeworn condition just adds to its desirability.
