SOLD 1943 Krug Champagne Crate

A unique find - an original Krug Private Cuvée champagne crate. This classic crate would have held several half bottles of the famous champagne. The 1943 vintage is very notable for its wartime context and quality of wines produced in France during that year, despite limited production. Signs of very historic worm - which has long since gone. Dents and bumps consummate with age. A bottle of Krug 1943 is very expensive and highly sought after - find another create like this.
